A little scare and I found "The Dress"

So my mom called on Saturday almost freaked out. I asked her what was up and she informed me that the church almost got booked on my wedding day! I told her that I had already reserved it but what I hadn't done and has been on my list for awhile was call Father. Someone called to book it and Father said there were no weddings in July...OOPS, that's the procrastinator in me. So my mother being the awesome woman she is called for me, hehe. So it's now offically at Wendelin at 2:00 on July 10, 2010.

On Black Friday me, mom, and Samee Jo set off on my wedding dress adventure! I can honestly say I only tried on 4 dresses! It was sooo surreal. 1st dress was pretty but it just didn't feel like the one. 2nd dress was one that I was in love with. I thought it was going to be "The One". 3rd dress didn't even zip up all the way and didn't like it! 4th dress I almost didn't try on due to liking the 2nd dress so much but while we were waiting for my appt I decided to try on the ivory dress and I thought well heck it's my size might as well it's kind of pretty. I had my heart set on white and a corset back. The moment of truth when I stepped out of the dressing room and saw my mom and Samee both in tears. I turned around and knew it I felt like the most beautiful woman in the world and the dress, omg the dress is BEAUTIFUL!!! To top it off it was actually a petite so it didn't need ANY alterations whatsoever!! So on Black Friday I walked out with a dress and a little bit in shock. I treated the girls to Lonestar and kept saying OMG I have a wedding dress in the car...I'M REALLY GETTING MARRIED, lol. But I knew the day couldn't have been perfect of course because later that night when I was looking for my debit card I realized I left it at Lonestar!!

Wedding Checklist!
So I think I have a lot completed and figured out for only being a little over a month into it. Colors...CHECK they are Lapis and Wisteria which are a dark purple and medium purple. Bmaids are selected just not told. I always hate asking but I guess I just need to. I am happy with my decision but I really wished I could have had like 30 bmaid so my friends could be in it too. Honeymoon is a half of a check we are going on a cruise and it will probably be to Alaska and we are looking for other fun couples to join us so if anyone wants to go...ALL ABOARD!! I picked out my invitations and actually they are cheaper then I thought. I got on a Cheap invitation site and lets hope they turn out, lol. I just don't see the need to spend a bunch of money on something people throw away. My wedding cake is picked out as well! My good friend Whitney does an amazing job on them and has agreed to do mine...LOVE YOU WHIT. So basically all I have left are the decorations for the tables and room, the guest list, and a few other things that will probably turn into a 1000 things!

Other exciting news...my sister found out Friday what she is having...we are staying with BLUE! 3 boys man I feel sorry for her, hehe. We were secretly wishing for a girl but hey another boy is wonderful too and I can't wait to meet him!

So if anyone has any advice for me on my wedding adventure, or tips please let me know. I'm pretty laid back with everything so far. I have Samee Jo to freak out for me, hehe

Goin to the Chapel and I'm Gonna Get Married!

So BIG news!! I got ENGAGED! I pretty much never thought this day would come and would never find the sweetest guy that would spoil me...I WAS WRONG!! I love the fact that he has to call me everyday to tell me I'm beautiful and he can't wait to be married to me. I also love the fact that the thing that makes him most happy is to make me happy! Ok so I'm bragging a little but hey I'm still on cloud 9! I have been in my fair share of weddings and kinda know the ropes but HOLY MOLY! When it comes to your own it is sooooo different. I think I have changed my wedding colors 4 or 5 times now and am having a really hard time narrowing down the bridesmaids...HELP! It also makes it hard that I am trying to plan it from 4 hours away, thank god I have a Bestie who has stepped up and helped me out A TON!!! Thanks Samee Jo! So I'm going to try and keep up with the details and probably get as many opinions as I can from here :)

I just can't believe I will hopefully be living in Clay County, haha never saw that one coming. I now just need to find a job back home and we can start our remodeling of our humble abode! So if anyone knows of any Hygiene jobs in the area PLEASE let me know I would love to live with my husband when we get married, lol.

The big day has at least been set...July 10, 2010, I told Cory he was getting off easy because it was only 2 days before my birthday. That just means bigger presents ;) We are going to get married at my church in Wendelin and the reception will be at the Holiday in Olney. I am just so excited still I can't stop rambling. Will I ever come down from this high!

This one is for you Sheila!

So it's been a long time since I've updated anything. So much has changed! First of all I'm still loving my new car but remembering to lock it is a bit tricky in the city. Someone got into my car and stole a few items. I was mad but like my daddy says it was a cheap lesson!!! I am also going to be an aunt again!!!! My sister is going to have another baby, #3, it is due April 12th, yeah they didn't waste any time thats for sure. My other nephew just started 1st grade and it makes me so sad that he is getting so old. Dominik is a little over 8 months now and is just a happy baby. Life in KoMo is going ok. I was going home so much and really didn't get to enjoy living on my own but lately I have stayed here which is great. I a going to my first tailgating experience tomorrow as well as first football game...GO MIZZOU. I am offically a Missourian, I bought the chair and sweatshirt to match. After the game later that night we are going to check out some sexy men at the Chip-n-dales. WAHOOO.

This month is so busy for me. I am going to go to Chicago next weekend for a bachlorette party for a wedding I'm in...CAN'T WAIT!! The weekend after that I am going to go to a Cards game with the boyfriend...yeah that wasn't a typo I said boyfriend. So that's something else that's new. I am finally not single, LOL. He is a wonderful guy that seriously treats me like a queen and will do anything for me. He thinks I'm perfect, I think he's blind :) I also have my 10 class reunion coming up towards the end of October. I can't believe I've been out of school for 10 YEARS!!

As far as my weight loss journey I have lost a total so far of 34lbs! Some days I think its a lot and others not so much. I still have a long way to go but I feel better about myself anyway so who cares right!!!! On another important scale my brother finally got his license back after 3 years!! congrats bubby lets keep them this time. Well Sheila I hope this gets you up to speed, I will try to do better!

Hello everyone! So I just got back from yet another trip back home to Illinois. I have been home the last 3 weekends and am going to be home the next couple weekends as well. While I do love to come home the drive, SUCKS. I had another busy weekend home, Thursday I stopped at Vic's for a "few", Yeah not so much. Then friday it was my nephews last t-ball game and then family supper at Monical's (yummy). I also went riding on Saturday and OH-BOY let me tell you it was a BLAST. I don't have the pics for em yet because I'm not completely sure where I left the disposable camera...LOL Imagine that one. Anyway I woke up today in soooo much pain! We had a few mishaps in the Ranger with a few ditches and I am definately paying for it today. I swear my rib is cracked or bruised and my head hurts from hitting the windshield. I know it was an accident but, DANG I paid for it today. Today I got a visit from Samee and Drake. Drake and Dominik got to meet and play today. Let's just say they may be in some trouble if they hang out later in life, lol. Not much else is new in my world other than my parents have decided to get a swimming pool. Nice of them to do that after I moved out. It should be up and going my bday weekend. Too bad I'll be in Current, oh well I will be swimming in it every time I come home. I sense a pool party coming up.

MOVIN' ON UP

I had a wonderful and eventful weekend on my trip back home, family time and getting a new carI ended up changing my mind on the car I wanted. Imagine that me indecisive, but after I looked at the Sentra in person and saw that is was super small in the back. I then looked at the Altima's and FELL IN LOVE!! I was now on a mission to get an Altima. So I got to look at like 5 Altima's but this was the one I wanted. It's a 2008, white, Nissan Altima. It has 15,000 miles on it and my favorite part is that its a push button start not a key. I feel like I'm movin on up in the world. I guess I have worked really hard for it so I deserve it I guess. I also never thought that I would get a white car again but I also fell in love with one. It's actually a funny story about me and dad's wonderful test drive experience. Needless to say we got some quiet time on the side of the road with NO GAS IN THE CAR!! yeah nice huh, if I wouldn't have loved the car I would have gone elsewhere. But my dad kept it entertaining foresure.

My cousin came up from Georgia and I got to spend the weekend with her and my other cousing Jamie. We had the annual "Sisters" sleepover and I had a blast, I love my mom and aunts. I never stopped laughing and the Ghost was active. I was a little freaked out but I had fun.

Saturday I got to have lunch with Mrs. Slaughter and her husband and daughter. It was some good Buffalo Wild Wings. Then later we went to a little party and played WAY too much flippy cup. Let's ust say Sunday's drive home was ROUGH.

Sunday I got really aggravated and had to laugh and think that's my luck. I was driving on interstate 70 and I think the only rock on that damn road came flying up at my car and gave me a little crack in my windshield...REALLY. I wanted to cry but I guess it could have been worse.
It just seems my luck still sucks. But I have to say I don't think it's sunk in that I got a new car...Finally and I am def going to be a better more cautious driver.

Keeping my fingers crossed!

So it's not offical because I haven't gotten the DAD approval but you soon may see this in the Geier driveway instead of the old grad am. But then again who am I kidding, I don't know if I could give up the ole girl may just have to keep her too. Anyway, a new car has been on the NEED list for awhile and my mom thinks I may one day soon get stranded on one of my visits home. So the next time I come home me and Dad are going to go look at it. Mom already did and she liked it sooooo keep your fingers crossed that I get it and I can keep it in one piece if I do, lol. But then again who am I kidding!

I'm really excited for my next trip home, it's going to be a special one! My cousin Britney is FINALLY coming up. I haven't seen her since my gma's funeral almost two years ago. I'm sure we will laugh, cry, and get a little tipsy so I soooo can't wait for my family packed weekend. Not to mention time with the Ashley on that sunday stamping and addressing those invites.

Oh How I Miss You!!

So I am missing something soo much...MY CAMERA!!! I feel so lost without it. It has been missing for over a month now and I keep hoping that I will run into it or someone will call me and tell me they have found it. YEAH RIGHT, like someone will actually give it back. I just hate not being able to post pictures of my new pad and my new life out here yet. Have no fear I am trying to work some more overtime so I can buy me a new one!

On a happier note I ventured back home to good ole Wakefield for Memorial Day weekend!! I had a wonderful time, I started it off by heading home early to suprise my nephew Mason at his T-ball game. He did sooo good, he is definately my litle all star. Then Saturday after some bike riding and a visit from Samee and Drake I ventured with my bestie to Dobb-a-palooza! Although it wasn't as big as I figured it would be I had a wonderful time. I even made good decisions and called good ole Dad at 3:30AM to come and pick me up. He can't get mad at me right because I'm a guest, lol. Sunday I ventured to Bone's pond and had a fun filled day of riding with Kelley, Rizzo, Cory, AK, and Mandy. I'm pretty sure I was mud from head to toe, no thanks to Cory. Monday I got to spend a quiet day with Mason and did some housework for my mom. I felt really bad because I felt like I didn't get to spend any time with her. So I have already decided that the next time I come home is going to definately be a family weekend...sorry friends!

So CoMo has been treating me well. I am really getting the hang of driving around and work seems to be getting better and crazier at the same time. Other than that nothing really new to report. My life seems to be Drama free...YES I SAID DRAMA FREE, lol

Back on the Net...Finally!!!

Ok so I am in my cozy new pad on a Friday night, yes that's right Hillary is home on a Friday night! Only because it is raining like crazy and we are under a Tornado Watch. Pretty sure I shouldn't be driving in this and get lost so why not sit at home and do some blogging. I've been working for three weeks now and actually cleaning teeth for two weeks, and I can say it's a whole new ballgame. I've been trying to push myself to be right up there with the ones that have been there awhile and it has paid off. Lenze the head hygienist, we call her HHBIC(head hygiene bitch in charge) noticed that I was rocking it out and said she couldn't wait for me to get to know the office better so me and her can rock out on production. I also had my first AWESOME DAY! I guess they announce over the "ears" at work when someone has a good production day and well I don't wear ears so I had no idea but I had the dentists and other co-workers coming up to me and telling me good job and I finally said what for and they told me. Yeah I gave myself a little pat on the back for that. I've been working overtime every day so far and have even volunteered to come in on my fridays off! I just hope I don't burn myself out too quick. But I got the taste of the money and want more, lol. I have so many things that I want and need ya know like a new car!!!! I also want to get a new camera soon since my drunk butt lost my last one, that way I can take pics of my new life here.

On the meeting people side it's going well. I work with a couple other hygienist who I hang out with on the weekends. Lenze, one of the hygienists there is bound and determined to find me a man...GO HER, but my mom informed me that whoever she finds needs to submit a resume so she can clear them. Oh, ya gotta love my mom! It's great because Lenze is a country girl and I mentioned how I love to go 4-wheeler riding and what do ya know...I now have someone to take me!! At least I accomplished my first goal I had set for myself here. Yeah I probably will never come home now, just kidding! Thursdays after work seems to be Happy Hour at a mexican resturant called ElMaguey's for $1 Margaritas. Oh how I love Thursdays.

The most exciting news this week is that we got cable and the internet!! We finally broke down and got it and it happened at a good time because we had watched Seasons 1-3 of Grey's Anatomy. Lets just say I am now hooked on that dang show. Next week I will also join the gym down the road, I've definately gotten off the track of the weight loss and it's time to jump back on.

On the home front I recieved a phone call last week from my friend Tiffany who babysits my nephews, and she informs me that Dominik's leg turned purple. TALK ABOUT FREAKING OUT! My sister took him to the doctor right away and he said that it was nothing. While I believe the doctor it still scared the shit out of me. That instance was one that made me wish I didn't live far away. Because if something did happen then I couldn't be just right there to help. But it comforts me to know that he has a wonderful sitter who will look after him so well! Mason is doing good also. He will be done with school soon, I just can't believe he will be in 1st grade next year! I think I may cry :( My favorite little man isn't so little anymore

I will be traveling back to Illinois Memorial Day weekend so I hope to see everyone out and about!! Well I think that's about it for now, but then again who knows.

The big move!!!

So I'm trying out the blogging world! I must say I'm really confused by it...like that takes much. But anyway I thought since I have moved away that the few people who want to know the drama, or lack there of, in my life will be able to keep up!

As most of you know I have ventured out of the great corrupt state of Illinois! I now live in Columbia, Missouri or as I like to call it CoMo. I was offered a position as a Hygienist at ProDental which is a Heartland office. I was excited to finally get to practice what I went to school for and live on my own again. I love where I live so far and my town house is super cute, it has 3 bedrooms and 2.5bath. We have an extra bedroom so I do expect visitors!!! I live with Addie, a girl I went to Hygiene school with. She also took a position at ProDental as well. I will try and post some pictures of my new pad as soon as I figure out how, lol.

So I have a week of work under my belt and so far so good! I just got my Missouri Hygiene license friday so I can finally start cleaning teeth on Thursday. I'm so happy about that because I was getting really antsy not being able to do as much as the other girls! But during this time it allowed me to see how things run and get use to the computer and xray systems along with seeing my first work catfight! I knew it would happen and probably happens more often then not, what do you expect when there are like 15 girls working together!

On the family note, I was home already this weekend to see my nephew, Mason's, first t-ball game and man is t-ball sooo cute! Mason is still having a difficult time adjusting to his Aunt Hillary being far away now! He is just a really emotional boy and just loves his aunt, I mean can ya blame him I'm flipping awesome! So for that reason I will probably come home more than I would like just to see him. He tells me he just can't stop thinking about me...talk about my heart breaking!!!! I can't forget to mention my little nephew, Dominik, he will be 4months old tomorrow! He is getting to be such a big boy and he always seems so busy. I'm really going to hate not seeing him every weekend and seeing how much he changes.

On the friend note, Leah celebrated her passing of the written boards Saturday as well as her graduation! WAY TO GO LEAH, I'm so proud of you and I'm pretty sure we partied hard and got really bad heartburn. Lets just hope there aren't any pictures floating around ;)
